Our skin is not only a protective shield but also a gateway to transformative medical treatments and cosmetic procedures. Following the resounding success of FUOS19, we have gathered luminaries from diverse fields, including healthcare professionals, companies, researchers, policy makers, and investors. Our focus is on engaging the next generation of innovators, the students, who will be the torchbearers of the technologies we dream of today.

During the full day, you will have access to various sessions and networking opportunities. The program will be updated with special speakers and innovation demonstrations in the near future.

Parallel session - round 1

We divide the group into subgroups beforehand and during this time block you participate in theme 1 or theme 2. In smaller groups (about 8-10 people) we break up and discuss the sub-themes in the group (a-b-c). During round 2 you participate in the other theme (possibly in another group).

  1. Society & Technology 
    a. Risks and Impact, Climate change (on e.g., psoriasis, skin cancer, cosmetics, tattooing, etc.)
    b. Hardware and Digital technology integration
    c. Fear about new inventions, ecological footprint (contamination)

  2. Business and Policy
    a. Teaming Up, how Start-up and Big Companies can work together
    b. Investing and Funding (patients’ groups, governmental agencies, private investors)
    c. Innovating and navigating (rules, FDA, MDR, insurance models)
